Director Amrutvahini Model School, Sangamner

It’s my pleasure to lead the first ever English medium school established in Sangamner, Amrutvahini Model School (AMS) & Junior College. At AMS we aspire to provide quality education to all the students coming from different background with well-balanced and dynamic curriculum. Our school always strives for the upliftment of the students from Urban as well as Rural area.

In AMS we aim towards integral human development, i.e. the holistic development covering all aspects of life namely Social, Economic, Cultural, Personal and Spiritual. I believe that true education is a right blend of intelligence and character. At AMS we educate our students to develop their innate potential along with positive social behavior, they are mentored for intellectual growth, ability to express themselves effectively, truthfully and acquire the habit of consistent and creative thinking. They are facilitated by a well- experienced and competent staff to promote good habits of self-study, enquiry, research, independent and logical thinking with the determination to learn about life and environment and the student’s relationship with it.


I, myself being an Alumni of Amrutvahini Model School & Junior College, am fully aware of the exact purpose of my Grandfather Late Shree Sahakarmaharshi Bhausaheb Santuji Thorat, in establishing the first ever English medium school way back in the year (Mention the year). Keeping his vision as my focus, I assure you all that every student of this school will flourish to become an engaged citizen of our country with the knowledge for critical thinking and motivation for lifelong learning and face the global challenges of today’s world.
